Today is the first day I have decided to blog. I have never done anything like this before and I am not quite sure what the heck I am even doing. I can't even figure out how to put a a large picture of my kids up! I was inspired by one of my best friends in the world to do this. She has recently suffered tradgedy within her cirlce of friends and it has made us all remember how precious each and every day is with our children and loved ones.
Today we were luckily enough to have Sarah, my sister in law, and her childern over to play. This is the first time they have ever been to my house! My brother and his family recently moved to Georgetown and was stationed in Killeen. Unfortunately he was almost immediately deployed for a third time to Iraq. I was so happy to finally, for the first time in our adult lives, be able to live close to him. Even being in the same state is a miracle! He then was whisked away from all of us but is able to regularly communicate. He is also always in our thoughts and parayers. We love you Uncle Derek!
Right now, Daddy, Mia and Matthew are sleeping and Macy is STILL sitting up watching TV. She got up at 3:30 this morning and chose not to go back to sleep until 6! She kept saying "Mommy, open your eyes"...she is such a sweetheart. Needless to say she took a nap from 4 pm to 8 pm and does not seem to be the least bit tired.
I hope to be able to keep this blogging thing up and I hope you all enjoy the day to day activities and silly stories we may share with you. Thank you so much for being a part of our lives!
